Over the past 4 years, Jake has been working on and off with composer Guy Dowsett creating music of all genres and styles for film, theatre and performance art. In late 2013 the album “island hops” was published and the group “Kite Parlour” was given its name. It’s a culmination of about 4 months of writing together in the Tuscan mountain villages of Granaiola and Brancoli. It has no direction, purpose or reason other than simply trying to remain connected to a universal creative energy. This is an attempt to be its conduit.
